Every year, National Emergency Medical Services are celebrated during one week in May by the City of Pearland. The celebration brings together local communities and medical personnel to publicize safety and honor the dedication of those who provide the day-to-day lifesaving services of medicine's "front lines." They will also offer classes and events such as: CPR & First Aid, Babysitting classes, and Car Seat Inspection.

Join the City of Pearland for the following scheduled events: 

Sunday, May 19 
CPR/First Aid class
2 p.m. 
FREE for the first 20 people that sign up before May 15.

Wednesday, May 22
CPR/First Aid Class
10 a.m. 
Fee: $50

Friday, May 24 
Car Seat inspection
830 a.m. to 12 p.m. 
3100 Kirby Dr. Pearland, 77584 (EMS Station 5)
by appointment only

Saturday, May 25
Babysitting course (ages 12 to 14)
9 a.m. to 2 p.m. 
Fee: $35

Every EMS Service around the our Country deserves all the support as do all service personnel, from our peace officers to firefighters, down to trash collectors. While paid well, they all put themselves in harm's way and are on the front lines of every disaster. Definitely there when needed most!
