Strawberry Picking!
Strawberry picking is in full swing here in Texas! There is a great farm, Froberg's Farm, where you can pick your own strawberries. I had such a great time watching my granddaughter pick out just the right strawberries for her bucket!
Froberg's has acres of strawberries that are ripe and ready to be picked. You buy a bucket (which you keep as a souvenir) for $1.00 and the strawberries are $2.00 a pound. Yes - that is cheaper than the grocery store! Froberg's offers a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables as well as other products at comparable prices to your local grocery store. They have stunning shade trees and plenty of space to sit and enjoy this spring weather and your fresh picked strawberries on the grounds too! So for a memorable family experience that won't empty your wallet check it out, just don't forget your camera!
