If you've been on my blog long enough, you know how important the Adult Reading Center is to me. The Adult Reading Center in Pearland provides free instruction to adults with low literacy skills. The Center helps so many people - in fact - in January alone there were over 60 people who started the process to start a class. The Reading Center recently had to hire a few more teacher just to keep up with the educational demand of adults in the area who desire to learn how to read.
For the past seven years, the Adult Reading Center has hosted the Red Hat Literacy Luncheon which raises money for the Center. I would like to ask you to consider being a sponsor this year. Below you will find the sponsorship levels, but really, any amount will help. Remember, if you can the parent, you reach the child and break the cycle of illiteracy.
