7th Annual Red Hat Literacy Luncheon

On March 25, 2010, the Adult Reading Center will host its 7th Annual Red Hat Literacy Luncheonat Epiphany Lutheran Church in Pearland. All proceeds raised with benefit the Center whose mission is to provide free instruction to adults with low literacy skills.
I have the honor of serving on the Board of Directors for the Center and I cannot begin to tell you the difference they make in our community! This is a great event and we always have a lot of fun! Over 400 women and men from the greater Houston area attend each year.
This year's speaker will be former first lady of Houston and author, Andrea White and Channel 13's Elissa Rivas will be the MC. Tickets will go on sale March 1st and you can purchase them through the Center by calling 281-485-1000.
