On June 3, 2011, Forbes published an article, "9 Reasons to Buy a House Now." The article stated that if you’re in the market to buy a new home, the next few months may be the best time to buy: "Waiting for both housing prices and interest rates to fall may not be a good strategy for potential homebuyers since analysts don’t expect any significant declines in these two most important home-buying factors."
Forbes stated that decided factors in buying a home now included the record low rates (and the fact that they are expected to go up soon), low down payment (through the FHA), buyer incentives by new home builders and motivated sellers.
All of these factors definitely apply to buying a home in Pearland Texas. However, there are several more that I'd like to include:

Pearland is strategically located between Hwy 288, Beltway 8 and I-45 providing easy access to the Texas Medical Center, NASA, and Downtown Houston. In fact, many people working in these areas chose Pearland to live because of the ease of access to other parts of Houston.
2. BEAUTIFUL SUBDIVISIONS! Pearland Texas offers great subdivisions such as Silverlake, Shadow Creek Ranch, Springfield, and Dixie Woods! Most of the subdivisions in Pearland offer amazing community amenities such as walking trails, community pools and parks and more! Furthermore, the subdivisions in Pearland tend to offer more than just a place to live - they tend to be a very neighbor-oriented
3. PEARLAND: A GREAT PLACE TO LIVE! Pearland is more than just a city - its a community. One of the best things I love about Pearland Texas is the way our community comes together. Whether fund raising for the Adult Reading Center, or participating in Keep Pearland Beautiful's Annual Tour de Lites Bike Ride or hanging out at the new Pearland Recreation Center and Natatorium, Pearland offers so many ways to "get involved."
