2nd Annual Links for Literacy Golf Tournament
After such a successful event last year, the Adult Reading Center has decided to hold the 2nd Annual Links for Literacy Golf Tournament on Friday, October 28, 2011, at the Club at Country Place Golf Course in Pearland. All proceeds raised support the programs at the Adult Reading Center whose mission is to provide free instruction to adults with limited English literacy skills. This event promises to be challenging, exciting and truly enjoyable!
Registration beginning at 10:30 a.m. and a shotgun start at 12:00 p.m., at the Club at Country Place Golf Course, 3123 Flower Field Land, Pearland. The event will be played in a four-person scramble and will feature many opportunities for golfers. There will be prizes for the winning teams, as well as hole-in-one prizes, closest to the pin, longest drive, silent auctions and a prize drawing.
