New this Fall: Pearland Parks and Recreation After-School Program!
Parks and Recreation is thrilled to announce the offering of an exciting After-School Program designed to enrich middle school student's activity after regular school hours.
The program begins August 23, 2010 and follows the Pearland ISD calendar and operates from school dismissal to 6:30pm. Transportation is provided for students from Alexander, Sam Jamison, Leon Sablatura and Rogers Middle Schools to Bailey Campus at 4917 Bailey Rd. in Pearland. Fees are based per student at $175 per month.
Students are provided with a healthy snack, an opportunity to complete homework, a variety of fun and dynamic activities, arts and crafts, and indoor and outdoor recreational play. The After-School program will also partner with Pearland ISD Career and Technical Education (CTE) program to promote career education opportunities available for each student. We will open the doors for students, and give them an insight to the skills necessary for their future success. For the first session (August/September 2010) students will discover the careers and education tracks.
