The Public is Invited to the Fire/EMS Station 5 Grand Opening on Saturday, April 2nd!
There will be free hot dogs, community 'giveaways', a burn demo, a facility tour & more from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.!
A “class A” fire engine staffed with four personnel and a mobile intensive care unit staffed with two personnel are housed at the 3100 Kirby location. Station 5 provides 24 hour service seven days per week and a quicker response of the City. The opening of the station redistributes existing EMS units for improved response times due to better distribution of resources.
