Join the Medical Reserve Corps in Brazoria County!
The Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) is a great way to start working with the Citizen Corps. In Brazoria County, MRC Members are a critical resource during disasters.
MRC members work with local responders to staff the Evacuation Transportation Hubs, work in the Emergency Management Call Center, provide Public Health Outreach programs, and support other public health activities.
NO MEDICAL TRAINING IS REQUIRED! Anyone can become an MRC Member.
All you need to do to become an MRC Member is attend the 3 Hour orientation, complete two on-line classes, and participate in one event each year, and complete a refresher every two years. The next training course will be held on August 11th.
