Free Friends & Family CPR Class
The Pearland EMS will be holding two (2) Free Friends & Family CPR Classes in honor of EMS Week on Saturday May 21, 2011. Both classes will be held in the training room at Station 5 located at 3100 Kirby Dr. Pearland, Tx 77584.
The Friends & Family CPR teaches you how to give CPR to an adult, child, or infant. Pearland EMS will be offering information on ADULT ONLY CPR. This will take approximately 45 minutes with a DVD and then skills will be done based on the student’s ability to do them.
The Friends & Family CPR class was created for anyone who wanted to learn how to do CPR but does not need a course completion card. Studies show that effective CPR right away improves survival from cardiac arrest.Many cardiac arrests happen outside a hospital. Most happen at home with family members and friends. You could make a difference by learning CPR and save a family members life.
Class #1 - 10:00am
Class #2 - 12:00pm
