This weekend, most people will breathe a collective sigh of relief as we "fall back" and get and an "extra" hour to to do whatever we want with it! You could do what most people will probably do and use that time to sleep.... OR you can use that time to do something GREAT! If you are looking for something to do with your extra hour, here are a few suggestions:
- Go for a walk! The weather on Sunday in Pearland is supposed to be GLORIOUS! Why don't you take the kids or just yourself to one of the great parks in Pearland and enjoy the crisp Autumn air! Tom Bass Park is always fun to go to - you can take some stale bread and feed the ducks or just walk the mile long track that surrounds the water
- Clean out that junk drawer! Come on - we all have one. Why not take this extra time to get organized! You'll probably be surprised about how many pieces of paper you thought you needed that you can actually just "file" in the trash. Getting little things like a junk drawer organized is a great way to start off the fall!
- Get your home ready for winter. Take this time to winterize your home. Check your smoke detectors and make sure they are working. Also, replace your air filters. This is also a great time to make sure you gutters are clear as well.
- Pull out your winter wardrobe! Now that we have cooler weather, take out your sweaters and boots and put away your sundresses! Just remember to leave a couple of warm things out - we are all to familar with the weather getting warm at Christmas time!
- Spend time with your family. We all get busy so take this time and spend it with your family. You can play a board game, do some baking or play outside.
Whatever you chose to do with your "extra hour" - enjoy it and make the most of it!
