Any home that will be used for principal residence will qualify for the credit, provided the purchase price is less the $800,000

When Previewing A Home
- Write notes so you will remember the details of the home
- Ask questions about the home and discuss any objections or concerns you may have.
- Ask about the information you are interested in, like the community - schools, shopping and transportation.
- Ask specific questions about the construction of the home; electrical, plumbing, heating, cooling systems, etc. Some of the information will be provided by the seller on the seller's disclosure.
